March In The Fast Lane – Pole Ltd Newsletter

March was the month where the 2026 season really kicked off for Pole Limited, with race events and announcements scattered throughout.

The 1st of March saw the conclusion of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Official Test Days, with sim racer Naquib Azlan putting his incredible talent to good use, topping three out of the four sessions.

The PCCA season then kicked off two weeks later in Shanghai, supporting the Chinese Grand Prix. An incident as the start of Race 1 led to its cancellation, with Azlan given the win and receiving half points thanks to his qualifying performance. The following day, it was the returning Luo Kailuo who claimed a fantastic victory, ahead of Ling Kang and Porsche Junior Marcus Amand, who put on a thrilling show for the fans.

Also on the same bill was the opening round of SRO GT Cup, now into its second season. Moritz Berrenberg was the star of the show for Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific, with the reigning Am champion taking victory in the same class on Sunday.

The Pole team then moved on to announcing an exciting campaign for KCMG, as the Hong Kong-based team returns to the fearsome Nordschleife for the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie and Nürburgring 24 Hours.

The squad then took on NLS2, with thousands of eyes watching thanks to a certain Max Verstappen. David Pittard, Jesse Krohn and debutants Nirei Fukuzumi and Sho Tsuboi put in a solid effort to take 10th as the team builds towards May’s twice-around-the-clock race.

Completing the month’s weekend work was Formula E’s visit to Madrid. While Nissan Formula E Team missed out on points, the Japanese squad was able to take plenty of learnings from the following day’s Rookie Test, which saw Abbi Pulling and Victor Martins set strong lap times and collect huge data for the second half of the season.
