February In The Fast Lane – Pole Ltd Newsletter

After a busy start to the year in January, February kept the Pole team active with action on three of the four weekends as the days began getting longer and 2026’s constant rain showed signs of finally coming to an end!

Firstly, the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series came to a close in Abu Dhabi, with Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific’s customers ending the season in positive fashion. After a tough first race of the weekend, Manthey’s #10 car of Antares Au, Loek Hartog and Klaus Bachler fought back in the finale to earn third place. The result was their fourth podium in the six-race campaign, the most of any entry, while they also secured third in the final standings.

Origine Motorsport picked up fourth in a strong second ALMS season, while there were also points finishes for Manthey’s #92 car and the Proton Competition entry at Yas Marina Circuit.

The following weekend saw the entire Pole team on the deck covering two fantastic events, with the Jeddah E-Prix and Bathurst 12 Hour both taking place. In Saudi Arabia, Nissan Formula E Team had a frustrating start to the double-header on Friday, despite Norman Nato leading for the majority of the first half of the race.

However, reigning World Champion Oliver Rowland found his form the next day, earning a strong third place finish to keep his title defence on track.

The Bathurst 12 Hour provided even more entertainment to the weekend, as five Porsche entries tackled Mount Panorama. An incredible run from the #86 High Class Racing saw Dorian Boccolacci, Anders Fjordbach and Kerong Li avoid the chaos of the race and gain a massive 28 places to clinch second overall and first in the Bronze class in the Intercontinental GT Challenge opener.

The dramatic ending to the enduro meant Absolute Racing would finish in sixth, just 10 seconds off the lead car, while EBM crossed the line in eighth.

The second half of the month featured Pre-Season Testing for KCMG in Super Formula and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, before both begin their respective championships in the coming weeks. Formula 1 begins in March, and Pole will see plenty of action in the series it covers, keeping us busy as Spring finally gets into gear.
