December In The Fast Lane – Pole Ltd Newsletter

December concluded what was a busy and active 2025 at Pole, with two race weekends as well as multiple announcements for clients as 2026 plans started to be confirmed.

While other championships finish in December, Formula E kicked off Season 12 with a dramatic opener in São Paulo. Nissan Formula E Team’s Oliver Rowland began his defence of the drivers’ title in strong fashion, gaining an impressive 11 places to finish second.

In Sepang, the first round of the 2025/26 24H SERIES Middle East season saw Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific customer teams clinch a superb 1-2 in 12H MALAYSIA, as Origine Motorsport claimed victory ahead of Absolute Racing, while Herbert Motorsport finished fourth and secured Pro-Am honours.

Origine Motorsport would continue this success at the Asian Le Mans Series opener the following weekend, as the trio of Yuan Bo, Leo Ye and Laurin Heinrich picked up a podium. Manthey Racing also enjoyed a trip to the rostrum with Antares Au, Loek Hartog and Klaus Bachler finishing second during Race 1 in the #10 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

With the year coming to a close, a busy final week in the office saw the Pole team working with our clients to ensure high-quality press announcements as 2026 plans were published.

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific confirmed its Pro driver line-ups for the upcoming Bathurst 12 Hour, with 2019 winners Earl Bamber Motorsport returning to New South Wales, fielding a competitive trio of Klaus Bachler, Laurin Heinrich and Ricardo Feller.

Absolute Racing also announced its third trip to Mount Panorama Circuit, with Matt Campbell and Alessio Picariello being joined by 2023 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion Bastian Buus.

Racing action will quickly return in 2026 with two Formula E races in Mexico City and Miami during January as well as Asian Le Mans Series action from Dubai, in addition to the conclusion of the 2025/26 24H SERIES Middle East, which visits Abu Dhabi and Dubai in back-to-back weekends.
